Reason #1: We've been busy, as evidenced by this post.
Reason #2: Our computer was not working well enough to do things such as upload pictures.
Reason #3: I've been pregnant and tired.
So here is our summer in somewhat reverse-chronological order (due to issues with Blogger):
Max Turns Three!
We celebrated with green "Incredible Hulk" cupcakes and a water balloon toss.
Alleman Family Vacation to Lake Powell
Thanks to my wonderful parents, we were able to visit Lake Powell with my entire family. Even though we had one rough night that left my husband, father, and little brother's family stranded on the lake for an entire night, we ended up having a wonderful time after we were all safe and together again.
A New Vehicle
Right before we left on our month-long vacation, we upgraded our car to a minivan. And with all of the miles we covered this summer, we were very grateful to have more space.
Lamoille Canyon
While in Elko, we went up Lamoille Canyon and had a cookout and explored the area a bit. Lamoille Canyon is one of my favorite places, so I was so happy to visit and see the rest of my family enjoy it as well.

A Visit to BYU Campus
While we were out West, we stopped and spent an afternoon on BYU's campus. We enjoyed some Creamery ice cream, explored the Eyring Science Center exhibits, walked around some memorable spots, and visited the football stadium.
A Wedding
Ryan's sister got married in the Idaho Falls Temple. What a beautiful and fun weekend!
Fourth of July
For Independence Day, we spent some time with the extended Alleman clan in Wallsburg, UT where we went down a giant slip & slide, rode on a zip line, learned how to longboard, and ate some yummy food.
We had a fun party with a Lego cake, Lego games, and lots of fun little boys.
Chris with his stash of presents.
All of the little boys with their Legos. Max was pretty upset he didn't get to sit by his brother.
A Mid-Haircut Mohawk. Just for fun.
Our First Pet
The boys found a roly-poly bug in our bathroom and adopted him as their first pet. They named him Zach and kept him in a jar with airholes. Max especially loved to watch him and let him crawl all over his arms.
Chris got to take tee-ball camp for a few weeks where he learned how to throw, catch, and hit. They even got to play a few games.
